When we stop long enough, slow down enough to hear our heart beat, sometimes we get glimpses of what we are becoming. Often, it’s surprising.
Most of my growing up years were spent in Germany. Snail races down bomb shelters, outboard motor boat barely able to push upstream on the Rhine River, learning a language and culture.
Later, I would set out to conquer the world with a college degree in Literature and the girl I would eventually marry.
Along the way, things happen to us. Every day they happen to us. This is my attempt to make sense of some of them by taking pictures and telling stories.
We each have our own tales and experiences to tell.
I hope yours are mostly good ones. And the bad ones…well, those are the ones that teach us valuable lessons.
